I was doing a little blog hopping yesterday and came across some images of the 2010 Cashiers Historical Society Designer Showhouse. I spent almost every summer growing up in Lake Toxaway, NC which is just a stones throw from Cashiers….so I was excited to hear about the Showhouse. (How could you not love this part of the country….here is a view from the porch of one of the two homes my parents built in this area. And, here is where Chris and I had our wedding.)
Anyhow, I spotted pictures of a girl’s bedroom from the showhouse at both From the Right Bank and The Painted House. The designer was Shannon Berrey.
I just love the bright and girly colors the designer used. How fun for a little girl!

And you know me, always a sucker for pink and green for little girls. I am loving the fabric on the chaise.

The DIY possibilities abound in this room. It is going right into my inspiration files. To see more of this room and the rest of the house, visit From the Right Bank and The Painted House.

You are right about lots of DIY ideas in these photos. You could almost have a contest on who could name the most. Love the shape of the headboard, and the subtle wall treatment. Janell
