Sometimes I enjoy browsing Dallas real estate listings while sipping my weekend morning coffee. This house is in a neighborhood just a stones throw from mine. Check out the dining room…..

Not in love…………..
April 23rd, 2012 at 9:48 amI like the chiang mai in small doses, like on pillows or even an accent wall that I saw. Not sure about a whole room of it though.
April 23rd, 2012 at 10:43 amThat’s a lot of Chiang Mai!!!
April 23rd, 2012 at 11:34 amFirst reaction – I kind of like it. Think the large window helps it from being too, too crazy. Allthough I would get tired of it if it was in my home.
April 23rd, 2012 at 1:46 pmI don’t care for it- the paper, the furniture – ugh. I also dislike that cheap swinging kitchen door & the lack of chunky moldings anywhere. I would run past this room-but I do love those dark stained floors.
April 23rd, 2012 at 2:51 pmI think I could have handled the wallpaper if they’d have put wainscoting on the bottom half of the walls. Otherwise, it’s just a little too busy as is. I also would have put in drapes and an area rug to offset that pattern.
April 23rd, 2012 at 7:45 pmi like the lamp on the buffet, probably because I own it too. Otherwise, I think it is terrible. Table too high, wallpaper too busy, chairs should be with another table chandelier doesn’t belong in there with that furniture, that cabinet is not the prettiest in there.
April 23rd, 2012 at 10:28 pmYikes too much !!
April 23rd, 2012 at 11:16 pmHmmm….., well, the frame around the paining in the hall is nice.
April 24th, 2012 at 4:53 ami like it–the room is big enough †o acomodate the pattern–its big bold splashy
April 24th, 2012 at 3:50 pmand happy, the white chairs are the perfect accent, they look very comfortable so guests would want to stay awhile and relax. the cabinet and table go with the space and they complement the oriental vibe. i;d love to meet the owner and have dinner here- its beautiful.
Wow. This is in my hood. I kind of think it’s awesome!
