Giveaway: Thom Filicia Bedding Collection for QVC

Everything the talented Thom Filicia touches is great.  Did you know that he launched a new bedding collection for QVC last week?

“Woven Dream” is available in grey and navy.  Love the geometric pattern here.

“Floral Vine” comes in chartreuse and a tranquil smokey blue.

I really like the “Full Bloom” pattern.  Very pretty close up, or adding texture from a distance.

Included in the collection are decorative pillow sets and throws….

The folks over at QVC have graciously offered the winner of this giveaway an 8 piece comforter set in the “Floral Vine” pattern.  The winner may request color and size (subject to availability).

For a chance to win….

1) Make sure you are a follower of my blog via Google Friend Connect and then leave a comment letting me know how you would use your set, should you win.

2) For a second chance to win, follow me on twitter and leave me a comment to let me know.

3) For a third chance, post to Facebook, blog or tweet about it and leave another comment with the link.

I’ll accept all entries through next Saturday the 5th and will announce the winner on the 6th.

Good Luck!

Thom Filicia Fabrics for Kravet

The new line of  Thom Filicia fabrics have hit the Kravet showrooms.  Here is a sneak peek as the images are not yet up in the Kravet fabric online search engine.  All images are via Kravet.

San Francisco Design Center, Kravet Showroom

Thom Filicia, well known for his Emmy winning work on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, has been named as one of House Beautiful’s Top 100 American Designers and House & Garden’s Top 50 “Tastemakers.”  He has also starred in and produced two Style Network Shows, Dress My Nest and Tacky House, where he focused on making home design accessible and achievable for the average homeowner.

I love the palate below, and especially cannot wait to see “Selina” in person.

Clockwise from top right: Crouse, Eureka, Selina, Shonnard

And, while I do not often use orange in my designs, I love these….and think the Citysquare print would look great as pillows on a navy couch!

Fabrics, left to right: Citysquare, Alvord, Poppyfield, Prospect

For a more neutral palate, the following would certainly fit the bill.

Fabrics: clockwise from top left: Niagra, Lodi, Eisner, Lodi

Fabrics, from left to right: Alvord, Basin, Alvord, Croly, Wall

Finally, how great is the fabric on the chairs in the NY D&D Building Kravet Showroom?

So, what do you think?  Do you like what you see?  I’ll let you know once I’ve seen these in person!
