House to Home, Photography by Emma Lee
With most of the major design decisions done around here, I am slowly but surely working on art and accessories. If we get some good light over the weekend I’ll share a few new additions, my new living room art is being picked up from the artist today and I’ve had a professional arrange orchids in my big clam shell for the foyer. Plus, the new pair of lamps for our family room sofa table came in….
What I am lacking is the knick knacks and accessories that make the house feel “done.” Here are some inspiration images.

Happy Weekend!
via, anyone know source?
I am drawn to these warmer, earthy slightly more traditional spaces today. Not sure why. Just because, I guess.
Happy Wednesday.
Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth there but we were out of town for a week for Spring Break and while I had good intentions of blogging from vacation….I was just too tired to do it. We spent a week in Newport Beach, CA and I am telling you when it isn’t foggy….I don’t know how there could be a better place to be. So, beautiful!
While there we managed to do three days at Disneyland and one at Lego Land which left for two days to explore Newport, Balboa Island, etc. I have tons of photos (mainly of the kids and their Pop-Pop who joined us for a few days of Disney fun) but haven’t even thought about downloading them from my phone.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share some photos of a Beach Bungalow (I am pretty sure it is in Balboa) designed by Krista Ewart (all images photographed by Victoria Pearson for House Beautiful.)
These images make me wish I had a little beach-side cottage.
The color and casual vibe is speaking to me!
Happy Monday.
Do you detect a theme?
I am so glad the weekend is here. I have a client meeting this morning, a call with my web designers this afternoon and then I am off! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend where hopefully we can all catch-up on some much needed rest, enjoy a low key night entertaining some friends, and decompress after a busy week.
Happy Weekend!
I am not going to lie. I have kindof obsessed over this paper (Harlequin Tulia which is part of the Anoushka collection) since I saw it. It comes in 5 colorways (search their site to see them all as I cannot link to the search) but this is my favorite….with the pink and turquoise running a close second.
How perfect would this paper be in a pool bath (or kids bath) with white tile and plumbing fixtures, polished nickel hardware, a green striped shower curtain and green monogrammed crisp white towels.
Yes, please!
