I have just ordered a sample of the yellow colorway as a contender for Maddie’s room. The price point is great (vs. Harry’s rug that will need to be with him for MANY years) and I love that it is indoor/outdoor….meaning it should be durable for lots of little girl play! I’ll let you know what I decide. This company has a fabulous selection (search their online catalog and you are sure to see many of the popular styles from the catalogs), great customer service and completely affordable pricing. What’s not to love?

I think I've Seen You Before....Ballard Designs "Bleached Santos"

Sorry for the lack of blogging of recent. Some family health issues have made me lose my focus on blogging and musing about home decor. I may be sporadic over the next couple of weeks. Between my mom having unexpected surgery next week and the fact that I am due in less than three…I am feeling a bit overwhelmed and distracted.

Anyhow…..

As I was flipping through the latest Ballard Designs catalog that arrived in the mail yesterday, this image of the “Bleached Santos” caught my eye.

I’ve received a few “pre-market” emails from Go Home, Ltd. in the last weeks. And, I remembered this item being included in their catalog. They call her the “Blanco Madame.”

Looks the same to me, other than the price of course. This company has some wonderful product offerings from decorative accessories to accent furniture, lighting, garden accessories to mirrors and holiday decor. I’ll try to put up some of my favorites next week. In the meantime, feel free to contact me with any questions.

This one was easy to spot for me as one of my favorite bloggers, Janell from Isabella & Max Rooms, recently used the fabric to create pendant lights in her kitchen.

Ballard Designs sells the fabric by the yard under the name “Domino” and it looks like it is available in “Green” and “Chocolate.”

What do you think, does it look similar to Robert Allen “Cats Cradle?”

Yes, I think I've Seen You Before -- Crate & Barrel Atacama Table

For the latest installment in this series, I’ve spotted a great trio of rustic iron and wood tables over at Crate & Barrel. The “Atacama” table is available as a coffee table, side table, and console table.

And, it looks like these tables are manufactured in Chile by Andres International, Inc. The US corporate headquarters are in Boulder, Colorado with a distribution center in High Point, NC. The company was founded in 1988 and has grown substantially, now manufacturing out of a 70,000 sq ft. state of the art factory in Santiago, Chile.

Several years ago I purchased a mirror from Crate & Barrel from this manufacturer and have been quite pleased with the quality and craftsmanship.

Hoping to make this a regular weekly feature for a while, I’ve got another Ballard Designs source for you. Below is an image of the popular “Le Poeme” rug from the Ballard Designs website/catalog.

And, here is the “Spello Poem” rug from “The Trans Ocean Group.”

Do you ever wonder about the sources behind your favorite design catalog items? I am going to start a new periodic feature on my blog highlighting what I believe to be the sources behind some of the more popular design catalog products. I’ll file them under the category “Yes, I think I’ve Seen You Before.”

So, to kick off this little series, I thought I would start with a favorite….the “Ogden Mirror” as seen in the Ballard Designs Catalog. I’ve got this mirror (purchased from the wholesaler) hanging over a console table in my upstairs hallway.
