I thought I would do a series of quick posts this week. I was down at the design center looking for fabrics and wallpaper for a couple of projects and I thought it would be fun to share a handful of items that caught my eye.
Pierre Frey’s “Mersina” is available in both fabric and wallpaper. There are several colorways but I am partial to the black.

Although, I think the muted “ice” colorway would be perfect in a nursery or perhaps a master bath.

What do you think?
For all of you chinoiserie lovers, here is a little eye candy from Pierre Frey.
Pierre Frey- Macao Bleu De Chine (also available in a red colorway)
This fabric doesn’t come cheap….trust me. But, a little could go a long way….don’t you think?
I recently stumbled across this Pierre Frey “Dauphine Mat” fabric from the January 2010 collection.

I am picturing myself curled up in a beach-side retreat with a good book, a warm breeze blowing in…this used as a coverlet folded up at the end of a bed with a big white fluffy duvet. My feet tucked in just enough not to get a chill. Perfection.
Of course, the closest I’ll get to the dream of an ocean retreat today will be visiting an upholster with a client’s soon to be recovered outdoor cushions in tow….and swimming lessons for my 2 year old. Hey, a girl can dream…..
Happy Friday!
