In our recent remodel we did not add any square footage to our home. Our architect’s initial plans called for a small extension off our kitchen that would have housed a mudroom, half bath and a little mother’s command center. At some point, we had to make cost/benefit decisions as to what was most important to us in terms of lifestyle and budget. The extension was tabled…..and will be part of phase 2….which could be 2 years from now or never…..who knows.
In any case, I spotted this image over at Houzz and pinned it to my “office” inspiration. Don’t you think you could manage daily family life better from a space like this?
Am I the only one who loves the Nina Campbell Perroquet wallpaper and the blush colored walls here?
I might make the chair more comfy…..but the rest….
….leaves me envious….
